So a few weeks ago Rachel contacted me to help create a bit of a cheeky, surprise wedding gift for her fiance Jake. As Jake works away a lot we had it all planned to hold the shoot at their house a few days before he was due back.. BUT.. he came home early! So we organised for the shoot to be held when he would be out of the house.. BUT.. I arrived early and he was still there.. Lucky we had 'wedding photography planning' as an excuse so I quickly threw the camera back in the car and grabbed my folder (trying to look professional.. hehe) We had exactly 1.5hrs to set up, shoot and pack up before Jake would arrive home and we managed to pull it off..!
Now that they are married and Jake has been given his amazing gift I can finally share some of the stunning images we captured... Here is the gorgeous MRS Cameron!
Had a lot of fun at this afternoons maternity session.. We were unfortunately rained out on Saturday but the weather was perfect for us today! Hope you like them guys.. :)
Life is hectic and there is so much needing to be done daily but the most important thing a parent can do is BE PRESENT in your child's life! Listen to their stories about nothing... Go exploring in the backyard, pretending to be Dora... Dance together in the kitchen to their made up songs.. Look at them when they speak to you.. Cuddle them for no reason.. and laugh about nothing..
Being present to them isn't about what you buy them or where you take them.. its about the quality time you spend with them!
Today I took the dog for a run, posted some customer orders, replied to some emails then began to clean my house when my very own little monkey came out and said "mummy can you photo me" So I dug out the camera and this is what we came up with.. I said Bella what should mummy title your images and she said 'Silly Bella' so here is some of our quality time captured.
