This was a fun session.. not only did I get to learn some cool things about healthy eating but I also got to EAT the food... pick my own veggies to take home and play with Moo Moo's
(well I actually just hid behind Amie but it counts, I was there) haha
If your looking for an amazing, down to earth nutritionist for the whole family Amie is your gal! She is a university qualified nutritionist that is registered with the Nutrition society of Australia.. so she knows her stuff!
Her website is still in the making.. (here's a hot tip.. its already got AWESOME photos hehe) but in the meantime you can also find her on Instagram, so go give her a follow; @amiewarne_nutritionist
Extended family sessions used to scare the crap out of me! Toddlers used to scare me more.. let alone multiple toddlers eek haha
It was the thought of getting everyone in one photo with all their eyes open and everyone looking somewhat happy.. and comfortable, all at the same time. That seemed near impossible! But.. then one day I just stopped trying for 'the perfect image' and just starting focusing on capturing the family.. who they are, how they interact, the love and laughter they share.. and when I did that, extended family sessions became probably the most fun sessions to capture.
So many personalities, so many funny conversations and getting to share in a big, happy family gathering always has me leaving 'work' on a high. (although my job never really feels like work! except the editing part..)
This family session was amazing! We laughed and laughed.. the day and lighting was on point and I left thinking 'when my kids grow up I want this kind of relationship and to make these kind of memories too'.
This little family.. their love and energy is amazing.. their smiles, their laughter, and did I mention energy? Well, it is the best! I love a session where you just don't want it too end because even as the photographer your just having too much fun!
The Taylors are regular clients of mine and I adore them and getting to document their memories throughout the years.
Thanks for choosing me again N and B!
Where I find peace during Covid-19
Turn on the tv, radio or open any form of social media and the words you will hear is Coronavirus, Covid-19, lockdown or social distancing..
There is so much fear in the air. Fear of becoming sick, fear of losing money, fear of running out of essentials, fear of not knowing when this will end and worst of all, a fear of death!
I understand people are scared, I understand how serious the situation is, but rather then succumb to my fear (which does not change the situation anyway), I am choosing to lean into faith.
Jesus takes away my fear of death.. I mean, I definitely don't want to die, but if I do, I know where I am going and that gives me peace.. so with that covered.. I have no room for fear.
Jesus died for me..(and you) even though he knew how much I would mess up in life.
He still thought I was worth it.. and whenever I have called upon him for help, he's been there, by my side, guiding me and loving me along the journey. To date I have survived 100% of every situation I thought I would never get through.. so I thank HIM!
So for me, although this is an unimaginable time and a trying time.. I am choosing to enjoy my isolation days with my family. I am choosing to get to know my kids and husband better, on a deeper level and to build better communication and relationships with them.
I am choosing to pray more and rely on God more.
I am choosing to get to know him better and who he created me to be, without all the distractions and rushed pace of my normal everyday life..
I am finding the blessings in my 'isolation everyday life'..
I am praying for all those negatively affected by this virus and I am using this time to be still and quiet and grow.
